This newly designed framework is built to support a diverse ecosystem of store formats, concepts, and frontline teams—ensuring strategic alignment, greater clarity, and absolute operational consistency across the board.
about the job.As the Project Lead – Retail Transformation & Workforce Strategy, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery, implementation, and long-term sustainment of this strategic organizational evolution across the Asia region.
Working in close, strategic alignment with a People & Culture (HR) Project Manager, you will manage the business, logistics, and operational components of this large-scale transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Governance & Tracking: Establish and maintain project governance structures with clear roles. Monitor project goals, success metrics, complex timelines, budgets, and key dependencies across all workstreams.
- Risk & Continuous Improvement: Facilitate regular risk reviews, formulate mitigation plans, and conduct post-implementation reviews to capture key learnings for continuous optimization
- Stakeholder Management: Draft and deliver comprehensive project status updates to senior leadership and diverse cross-functional partners
- Change Management & Enablement: Support the overall change management strategy to transition operations smoothly to the future state. Develop, roll out, and maintain retail-facing communication tools, training guides, digital platform announcements, and centralized documentation hubs.
- System Feasibility: Track timelines for necessary systems setup and assess the feasibility of proposed operational solutions.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, with 5+ years of relative project management Experience Experience within a global, vertically integrated, or specialty retail environment is highly preferred.
- Strong background in Program Management is required; practical experience navigating Change Management frameworks is highly preferred.
- Mastery of corporate project management and collaboration platforms to drive efficiency across cross-functional teams (e.g., Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
- Proven capability to lead, influence, and negotiate meetings with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization. Ability to translate complex project management and technical concepts into practical, business-oriented terms.
- A track record of successfully managing multiple, diverse projects under tight time constraints and executing with a strong sense of urgency and issue-resolution mindset.
- An entrepreneurial mindset, an honest and empathetic communicator, a collaborative relationship-builder, and someone who balances high performance with a great sense of humor.
