As a Private Wealth Associate, your main responsibilities will include:
Advising ultra-high-net-worth clients, family offices, and trustees on the design, establishment, and restructuring of complex offshore and onshore trusts.
Providing sophisticated legal counsel on international estate planning, succession planning, and asset protection strategies.
Leveraging and expanding a strong PRC network to advise Mainland Chinese founders and families on cross-border wealth migration and offshore structures.
Assisting clients with the establishment and licensing of single and multi-family offices in Hong Kong.
Collaborating with overseas offices and external tax advisors to deliver seamless, multi-jurisdictional tax and trust advice.
Participating actively in business development initiatives and marketing campaigns targeted at the Greater China market.
skills & experience required.
A minimum of 3 to 6 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) specialising in private wealth, trusts, or tax law.
Admitted to practice as a Solicitor in Hong Kong (mandatory qualification).
Demonstrated track record of working with Mainland Chinese clients, backed by a strong and active PRC network of intermediaries and clients.
Deep technical knowledge of trust law, wealth planning structures, and general corporate advisory.
Flawless professional fluency in Mandarin (both spoken and written) is essential to effectively liaise with PRC-based clients, alongside excellent legal English drafting skills.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the empathy and discretion required to manage sensitive family and wealth dynamics.
