- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation for syndicated loans, acquisition financing, and structured debt transactions.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare comprehensive transaction reports for international lenders and corporate clients.
- Assist partners and senior associates with cross-border debt restructuring and insolvency matters.
- Coordinate multi-jurisdictional closing processes and liaise with external counsel, regulatory bodies, and corporate stakeholders.
- Research complex legal issues relating to Hong Kong banking regulations, financial compliance, and cross-border security structures.
skills & experience required.
- Qualified lawyer with NQ to 1 year PQE in banking and finance from a recognized jurisdiction.
- Proven track record in handling syndicated lending, leverage finance, or debt capital market transactions.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, and communication skills in British English.
- Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin is required to engage with regional clients and analyze Mainland China documentation.
- Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
