- Lead complex commercial litigation, international arbitration, and dispute resolution matters for local and multinational clients.
- Formulate and execute strategic business development initiatives to expand the firm's dispute resolution footprint in Hong Kong and wider Asia.
- Provide high-level legal counsel on regulatory compliance, risk management, and pre-litigation strategies.
- Manage, mentor, and develop fee-earners and support staff within the litigation practice.
- Maintain top-tier client relationships while actively cross-selling other practice areas across the global network.
skills & experience required.
- Admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong with substantial post-qualification experience (PQE) in commercial litigation.
- Demonstrated track record as a Partner or Senior Counsel within a reputable law firm.
- A strong portable book of business (ideally USD 1 million+ in portable billings - candidates with slightly lower book can also be considered).
- Expertise handling complex multi-jurisdictional disputes, international arbitration, and regulatory matters.
- Full professional fluency in English; proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous.
