- Assist in advising financial institutions, brokerages, and corporate clients on SFC and HKMA regulatory compliance.
- Support partners on contentious regulatory matters, including SFC investigations, enquiries, and disciplinary proceedings.
- Draft and review regulatory policies, client disclosures, licensing applications, and compliance documentation.
- Conduct legal research on emerging financial regulations, fintech standards, and enforcement trends.
- Report directly to the leading Regulatory Partner while collaborating closely with team members across broader commercial matters.
skills & experience required.
- Admitted (or soon to be admitted) as a solicitor in Hong Kong (NQ to 2 years PQE).
- Open to 2026 Qualifying Trainees completing their training contracts with strong regulatory or litigation seats.
- Prior experience or a strong demonstrated interest in financial services regulation, SFC compliance, or contentious regulatory work.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and communication skills in English.
- Professional fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous.
