- Assist in handling complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and winding-up proceedings.
- Provide comprehensive paralegal support in high-stakes shareholder, director, banking, investment, and construction disputes.
- Support regulatory defence matters and investigations led by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
- Assist in preparing documentation for white-collar crime cases involving the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) and the Commercial Crime Bureau.
- Conduct thorough legal research, prepare trial bundles, and draft routine legal and court documents.
- Liaise professionally with clients, counsel, and courts to ensure the smooth progression of case files.
skills & experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within a commercial litigation or dispute resolution practice.
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or an equivalent legal qualification.
- Proven experience assisting with High Court proceedings and arbitration matters.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks involving the SFC or ICAC is highly advantageous.
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin fluency is a strong advantage for liaising with PRC clients.
- Strong organisational skills, rigorous attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a demanding legal environment.
