As a Word Processing Operator, you will be responsible for:
Creating, revising, and formatting complex legal documents to the Firm’s specifications using the latest software and MS Office versions.
Producing financial statements, flow charts, presentations, letters, and specialized documents requiring cross-references, Table of Contents, Table of Authorities, defined terms, and indexing.
Scanning, formatting, and converting documents across various software packages, alongside producing mail merge documents, fillable-PDF forms, and Change Pro comparisons.
Troubleshooting complex document issues and successfully recovering or restoring corrupted files.
Answering incoming calls to Word Support, assisting users via remote access, and accurately logging support tickets into the software system.
Coordinating closely with the Word Processing Supervisor regarding workflows, maintaining a precise diary log of all work performed, and providing front desk coverage when necessary.
Working flexible schedules or overtime as required to meet strict global deadlines.
Supporting one of the following shift options: Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm HKT ; OR Wednesday to Sunday, 9:30 am to 5:30 pm HKT.
skills & experience required.
Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including intermediate-level knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel.
Prior experience or knowledge of software specific to the legal industry, such as Worksite and the Payne Numbering Scheme, is highly desirable.
Experience working within a large law firm and familiarity with Adobe products or EDGAR is preferred.
Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
Strong attention to detail, exceptional analytical skills, and robust problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to provide remote technical support calmly and effectively.
Proven ability to use absolute discretion when handling sensitive and highly confidential information.
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise, plan work activities, and reliably meet tight deadlines within a high-pressure environment.
