As a Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Overseeing the performance professional qualfiications in carrying out its statutory functions.
Assessing and providing strategic recommendations for implementation of auditing, accounting, and assurance standards.
Maintain a robust oversight framework and coordinate with external stakeholders
Developing policy positions on audit quality, and emerging topics
Collaborating with regulators, professional bodies, audit firms
Supporting the department's growth and contributing to its strategic objectives.
Fulfilling other responsibilities as assigned.
skills & experience required.
To be considered for this critical regulatory position, you must possess:
Status as a qualified Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or a related discipline.
At least 6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting firms or regulatory bodies.
Passion and strong commitment to building a long-term career within a regulatory body, with a proactive and accountable approach.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a dynamic environment.
Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and presentation skills, with effective communication across a range of stakeholders.
Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
