- Support the technical execution of a large-scale data centre relocation, including architecture planning, migration strategy, and system stabilisation.
- Administer and optimise Unix/Linux servers (Red Hat, Ubuntu), virtualisation platforms, and core network infrastructure.
- Lead system cut-over activities with a focus on minimising downtime through rigorous testing and post-implementation reviews.
- Manage switches, routers, firewalls (Cisco, Fortinet), and VPNs to ensure compliance with security best practices.
- Drive efficiency using scripting languages such as Bash or Python and configuration management tools.
- Produce migration runbooks, system diagrams, risk assessments, and rollback plans.
- Maintain high availability through proactive monitoring, patching, and capacity planning.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise infrastructure administration (Server & Network).
- Proven experience in physical data centre relocation or large-scale hardware refreshes and OS migrations.
- In-depth expertise in Unix/Linux (Red Hat/Ubuntu) design and virtualisation technologies.
- Solid experience in enterprise network deployment and security using Cisco or Fortinet.
- Strong understanding of data centre architecture, including power/cooling, rack layouts, and structured cabling.
- Professional credentials such as RHCSA/RHCE, CCNA/CCNP, or Fortinet NSE are highly preferred.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
