- Act as the key thought leader within the IT department, leading the technology team while overseeing daily activities and performance.
- Serve as the primary IT business partner to senior stakeholders, translating business goals into scalable IT roadmaps.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders across departments to define, align, and deliver IT strategies, policies, budgets, and action plans for digital transformation projects.
- Lead business analysis efforts by identifying operational pain points, gathering technical requirements, and re-engineering processes to improve efficiency.
- Ensure IT audits and compliance meet group standards and regulatory requirements.
- Review and manage manpower, budgets, and project timelines based on evolving priorities.
- Serve as an internal consultant to suggest workable, scalable solutions that meet specific business needs.
- Assist with hands-on operations for urgent cases from VIP users or critical escalations.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 15–20 years of IT experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the commercial, hospitality, or semi-government sectors is preferred.
- A well-rounded background in digital solutions and operations, including but not limited to IT infrastructure, Business Intelligence (BI) tools, digital workplace technologies, business applications, and cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of modern cybersecurity tools, platforms, and measurements, with proven experience in planning and developing IT security policies and supporting risk management/IT auditing/governance. CISA, CISM, or CISSP certifications are a plus.
- Proven track record in resource management, including CAPEX/OPEX budget oversight, headcount planning, and vendor management.
- Exceptional business analysis skills; able to dissect business problems and present technical solutions to non-technical executive leadership.
- Procficient in English and Cantonese speaking, and currenrly based in Hong Kong with valid work permit.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with a natural curiosity for adopting new technologies to enhance efficiency.
