Our client is a well-established business in the commercial sector. They are currently seeking a Senior IT Manager / IT Manager. Based in Hong Kong (working Hong Kong office hours), this individual will be responsible for overseeing the technical teams for one of the company's subsidiaries in the US & Europe. The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded background in IT infrastructure, ERP/CRM systems, and application development. A proven track record of leading overseas technology teams is highly advantageous.

- Oversee an overseas team of 10–15 FTEs across the US and Europe, ensuring technology is a driver for operational excellence.
- Act as the primary IT business partner to senior stakeholders, translating business goals into scalable IT roadmaps.
- Work closely with senior business stakeholders across departments to define, align, and deliver IT strategies, roadmaps, policies, budgets, and action plans for digital transformation projects.
- Lead business analysis efforts by identifying operational pain points, gathering technical requirements, and Re-engineering business processes to improve efficiency.
- Manage the full IT lifecycle including, application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations and budgeting etc..
- Review and manage manpower, budgets, and timelines based on evolving project priorities.
- Drive the end-to-end development and implementation of the group’s proprietary ERP system, ensuring it meets complex business workflows and operational needs.
skills & experiences required.
- Bachelor's Degree or above in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 15+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience in the commercial sector (e.g., Manufacturing, Retail, FMCG, or Supply Chain) is highly preferred
- Proven track record of managing overseas teams would be advantagoues; must be comfortable with international meetings and occasional global travel.
- Exceptional business analysis skills; ability to dissect business problems and present technical solutions to non-technical executive leadership.
- Well-rounded background in digital solutions and IT operations, including but not limited to infrastructure (database, servers, networks, workplace technologies, and security), application development (ability to review code), ERP/CRM systems, data and AI etc..
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (near-native English proficiency is a plus); must be currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit.
- Experience in planning and developing annual budgets, project timelines, and manpower allocation for overseas teams.
- Excellent business acumen, presentation and numerical skills.
- Comfortable moving from high-level strategy to "boots-on-the-ground" project implementation.
- Possess the curiosity to pick up new technologies and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the IT Manager position.
