about the job.
- Deploy, scale, and maintain cloud infrastructure workloads utilizing Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Cloud Run architectures.
- Oversee lifecycle operations for Cloud SQL and database systems, implementing high-availability frameworks, regular backups, and query tuning strategies.
- Design and implement end-to-end network topologies, governing VPC configurations, subnet structures, firewall policies, and custom Netgis deployments.
- Champion cloud financial engineering practices by monitoring system consumption, enforcing right-sizing initiatives, and tracking committed use discounts to achieve optimal FinOps efficiency.
- Enforce a zero-trust environment by administrating strict IAM access matrices and aligning infrastructure configurations with global organizational policies.
- Streamline software delivery cycles by managing continuous integration and delivery pipelines while driving automation through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
skills & experience required.
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an engineering-related discipline.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing production cloud environments or administering enterprise-level infrastructure.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on work experience focusing heavily on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration and DevOps practices.
- Mandatory Professional Certification: Active credential as a Google Professional Cloud Administrator or Cloud Architect.
- Practical expertise spanning GCP Compute services, VPC networking, Netgis configurations, and Cloud Load Balancing solutions.
- Proven capacity to manage transactional databases, handle replication, and coordinate database performance tuning.
- Strong familiarity with automated configuration tools, CI/CD pipeline structures, and modern system monitoring utilities.
- Solid comprehension of cloud billing metrics, resource allocation strategies, and financial optimization principles.
- Prior technical exposure collaborating with development environments using Python or building artificial intelligence models inside Google AI Studio is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrates a metrics-driven approach to cloud security and cost management paired with strong problem-solving capabilities.
