You will be leading a sizeable team which comprises of DC operation and DC Facility Managament with at least 20 colleagues. You will also be reporting to Head of Information and Communication Technology.

- Strategic Leadership: Report to the Head of ICT to formulate the long-term roadmap and strategy for delivering and maintaining a best-in-class, 7x24 mission-critical data centre environment.
- Governance & Compliance: Develop and enforce policies, security safeguards, and operational standards that align with industry regulations, ensuring robust business continuity and disaster recovery resilience.
- Operations Management: Lead the 24x7 ICT service delivery team, overseeing helpdesk support, change management, incident response, and performance monitoring to meet strict service level agreements (SLAs).
- Facilities & Infrastructure: Direct the management of critical physical infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling (HVAC), UPS, fire suppression systems, and structured cabling.
- Financial & Asset Stewardship: Oversee the data centre budget and lifecycle of IT assets, identifying cost-optimization opportunities and managing contractual relationships with third-party service providers.
- Continuous Improvement: Act as a subject matter expert to analyze operational trends, report on KPIs, and implement corrective actions to optimize security, scalability, and efficiency.
skills & experience required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 10+ year proven experience as a Data Centre Operation Specialist or similar role in a large scale 24x7 data center environment.
- Data Centre Leadership: Proven expertise in managing large-scale, 24x7 ICT operations and high-performance computing (HPC) environments to ensure maximum uptime and scalability.
- Infrastructure & Facilities: Extensive experience overseeing IT infrastructure, facility maintenance, and physical equipment to support continuous, mission-critical operations.
- Operational Governance: Skilled in managing data centre budgets, asset inventories, and vendor contracts while maintaining strong relationships with external service providers.
- Standard Compliance: Deep knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, including ITIL, Uptime Institute, TIA-942, and ISO27001, with a focus on incident management and disaster recovery.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong analytical skills to solve complex availability challenges, with the ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese across cross-functional teams.
