As a Data Analyst with a growth path toward Data Engineering, you will bridge the gap between business insights and data infrastructure. While your primary focus is on analytics and visualization, you will be mentored to handle "light" data engineering tasks within the Azure ecosystem. Core responsibilities include:
Developing and optimizing Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards to provide actionable insights for senior management.
Extracting, transforming, and interpreting data from various sources to support business decision-making.
Designing and implementing light data warehouse patterns (Medallion architecture: Bronze/Silver/Gold) using Delta Lake for reliability.
Building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Azure Data Factory.
Collaborating with the team to automate manual processes and improve overall data flow efficiency.
skills & experiences required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Technical Stack: Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, PySpark) and complex SQL query optimization is mandatory.
Visualization: Hands-on experience with Power BI, including security handling, DAX, and report optimization.
Experience: Open to candidates with 1–2+ years of experience in Data Analytics; our client values talent and a proactive attitude.
Mindset: A mandatory willingness to learn data engineering skills and tools such as Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
Communication: Fluent in English (both professional and informal); ability to articulate insights to management is key.
Bonus Skills: Fluency in Cantonese and experience with Databricks, Power Automate, or version control (Git) are highly regarded.
