about the job.
- Respond to client enquiries regarding company and partnership formations, ongoing corporate maintenance, name changes, and strike-off or liquidation processes.
- Prepare formation documents, legal opinions, director certificates, and board/shareholder resolutions using firm precedents.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings to the Cayman Registrar, Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), BVI Companies Registry, and BVI Financial Services Commission.
- Maintain statutory corporate registers (directors and officers, members, mortgages, and charges) for Cayman and BVI entities.
- Prepare fee breakdowns, explain cost structures to clients, and manage invoice queries.
- Draft documents for notarisation, legalisation, and apostille, coordinating with overseas offices to ensure timely completion.
skills & experience required.
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant corporate paralegal experience, ideally handling offshore (Cayman/BVI) corporate matters.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
- Strong ability to manage high-volume instructions and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable team player with high ethical standards.
