To support their global expansion, They are hiring a Business Development Manager in Hong Kong to establish a local market presence and drive growth across Hong Kong and Greater China.
Role Summary
This is a market-building role, not a traditional sales or account management position.
As the Business Lead for Hong Kong, you will be responsible for establishing their footprint in the region by acquiring key enterprise clients, building high-value strategic relationships, and acting as the local face of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Build and execute commercial strategy across Hong Kong and Greater China.
- Client Acquisition: Prospect and win new enterprise clients, including private banks, family offices, External Asset Managers (EAMs), wealth managers, and asset management firms.
- Ecosystem Partnerships: Develop strategic partnerships within the regional wealth management ecosystem.
- Pipeline Management: Generate and manage a robust enterprise sales pipeline from lead generation to close.
- Consultative Selling: Lead discovery meetings, complex solution presentations, and commercial negotiations.
- Executive Collaboration: Work closely with the global founding team throughout the end-to-end sales cycle.
- Client Success: Support seamless client onboarding and lay the foundation for long-term account expansion.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 5–7 years of experience in WealthTech, FinTech, Enterprise SaaS, or Wealth Management.
- Proven track record selling enterprise software or complex technology solutions to financial institutions.
- Strong domain knowledge of wealth management, investment operations, portfolio management, or wealth data.
- Established network and trusted relationships with decision-makers at family offices, wealth management firms, private banks, EAMs, and investment firms in Hong Kong.
- Superior executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- A consultative, solution-oriented approach to enterprise B2B sales.
