Process and perform strict verification of all import and export trade transactions, including letters of credit (L/C) and amendment issuance.
Manage import/export bills, loan and acceptance initiations, settlements, shipping guarantee issuances, and redemptions.
Handle non-trade bonds, guarantees, and standby L/Cs accurately and in strict accordance with established internal procedures.
Compile and review trade monthly outstanding reports for clients, banking returns, and other management information system (MIS) reports.
Provide detailed business requirements for trade finance system projects, executing user acceptance testing (UAT) and subsequent system modifications.
Assist in training, guiding, and upskilling junior clerical colleagues in transaction processing skills and system operations.
Partner closely with the Customer Services team to resolve operational queries and ensure client satisfaction.

Completed secondary education with 2 to 5 years of hands-on banking experience within import and export trade operations.
Candidates holding a relevant university degree or diploma with less experience will also be considered.
Deep knowledge and practical experience in applying international Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules, including UCP600, URC522, ISBP, ISP98, and URDG 758.
Strong transaction screening knowledge regarding trade-related compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), and counter-terrorist financing (CTF) regulations.
Excellent adaptability with a proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong collaborative mindset with exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills.
Proficiency in standard office software, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
