about the team.You will join a high-performing operations team that acts as the first line of defence in the client onboarding lifecycle. The team is collaborative, detail-oriented, and focused on delivering a seamless internal customer experience. Working closely with frontline business units and the legal/compliance department, the team ensures that the firm's growth is supported by robust risk management.

about the job.

Ensure timely and accurate CDD reviews and risk assessments for new and existing accounts.
Manage the screening of counterparties and ensure the tracking, escalation, and resolution of CDD deferrals.
Deliver a high-quality internal customer experience while maintaining the highest global standards of CDD and KYC.
Conduct AML periodic risk assessment reviews and communicate results to internal and external stakeholders.
Execute various client checks including KYC, AML, World Check, CRS, and FATCA requirements.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations and internal AML policies when carrying out job duties.
Escalate critical issues to supervisors in a timely manner and perform ad-hoc project work as required.

A degree holder or above in a relevant discipline.
A minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience within financial institutions.
In-depth knowledge of the client onboarding process, KYC, AML, documentation, and market regulations.
Specific experience serving Brokerage, Global Markets, or Investment Banking clients is highly advantageous.
Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and a capacity for effective team collaboration.
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritse complex issues under pressure.
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential.
