Manage the full client account lifecycle, including end-to-end client onboarding, account maintenance, and regular client reviews.
Conduct thorough due diligence and rigorous verification checks to ensure strict compliance with internal KYC and AML policies.
Accurately input, update, and maintain critical client data across multiple internal database systems.
Act as a formal checker to review, validate, and sign off on the work quality of makers within the team.
Liaise closely with front-office sales teams and assistants to resolve documentation gaps and facilitate timely client onboarding.
Provide regular on-the-job coaching, guidance, and training to junior officers to uphold the team’s quality standards.
Support all internal and external audits, regulatory inspections, and thematic compliance reviews related to client onboarding.
Execute data cleaning initiatives and remediation exercises to ensure data quality fulfills operational and reporting requirements.
Identify bottlenecks and areas for process enhancement to streamline daily operations and leverage automated workflows.
Undertake ad hoc projects and reporting duties as assigned by the team lead.
skills & experiences required.
Possess a Higher Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or above in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in KYC, AML, or client onboarding within a regulated financial institution (such as a bank, asset manager, broker-dealer, or fintech firm).
Demonstrate strong attention to detail with a proven track record in accurate document checking and high-volume data entry.
Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Chinese word processing applications.
Prior experience or a strong proficiency in effectively utilizing AI tools and data automation software is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with a good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including fluent Mandarin.
