- Process customer due diligence (KYC) for new client and counterparty onboarding, periodic reviews, and trigger reviews.
- Handle KYC-related enquiries from the Front Office, external counterparties, and internal business partners.
- Work closely with team members to facilitate the efficient collection and verification of KYC documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments, including Compliance and Legal, to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal bank policies and external regulatory standards.
- Prepare management reports and actively monitor the progress of all KYC cases.
- Review and update internal operational policies and procedural manuals.
- Support ad-hoc compliance projects and tasks assigned by senior management.
skills & experiences required.
- Degree holder or above in Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8+ years of experience in KYC, corporate banking compliance, or anti-money laundering roles.
- Strong knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements (SFC/HKMA guidelines) and local Anti-Money Laundering (AML) standards.
- Professional qualifications such as ECF on AML/CFT or ACAMS are highly advantageous.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across different business departments.
