With a reputation for clinical excellence and robust market expansion, the company provides state-of-the-art instruments that elevate surgical precision and patient outcomes.
We are seeking a high-caliber, strategic Sales Director to be based in Hong Kong. This leader will drive commercial growth, optimize distributor networks, and champion product portfolios across Hong Kong and Taiwan
Key Responsibilities
Sales, Marketing & Portfolio Strategy
Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies across Hong Kong and Taiwan to consistently achieve regional revenue targets.
Oversee regional P&L, pricing, promotional campaigns, and product positioning from launch through full lifecycle management.
Plan and lead regional marketing initiatives, including new product launches, hands-on surgeon training workshops, international conferences, and exhibitions.
Market Development & Channel Management
Identify, onboard, and secure qualified distributors, agents, and sub-dealers to penetrate emerging markets.
Train, manage, and audit distribution partners to maximize their local sales capabilities, compliance, and market performance.
Customer & Stakeholder Relations
Establish and nurture strong, trust-based relationships with key surgeons, end-users, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and prominent academic associations across the region.
Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs team to facilitate government communications, product registrations, and smooth market entries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with R&D and global marketing teams to relay field feedback and clinical insights, directly driving product upgrades and pipeline development.
Coordinate seamlessly with QA, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve product feedback/complaints promptly and ensure smooth supply chains.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Medicine, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, or a related healthcare/business discipline.
9+ years of successful medical device sales, marketing, or business development experience
Direct commercial experience in General Surgery or Operating Room (OR) products is essential.
Prior career progression within multinational medical device corporations is desirable.
Outstanding market analysis capabilities, negotiation prowess, and a sharp understanding of diverse healthcare reimbursement and channel models
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other languages is a distinct advantage
