We are seeking a Legal Counsel to serve as a pivotal advisor on cross-border operations and regulatory strategy. This role offers high-level exposure, reporting directly to senior management on the evolution of the firm’s global presence.
about the job.
- Facilitate international growth by drafting complex documentation, reviewing multi-jurisdictional service agreements, and overseeing the work of external global counsel.
- Act as a key representative in meetings with overseas regulators and provide legal oversight within internal committees to ensure global compliance.
- Conduct deep-dive research into the legal frameworks of new target markets and produce comprehensive reports for both internal leadership and external regulatory bodies.
skills & experiences required.
- Hold a legal qualification from a common law jurisdiction with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Exceptional command of both English and Mandarin is essential for navigating the firm's dual-market focus.
- Proven ability to work independently on ad-hoc global projects, backed by strong problem-solving skills and a background in international legal environments.
