- Advise international and regional clients on complex public and private M&A transactions, cross-border investments, joint ventures, and corporate reorganizations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation, including sale and purchase agreements, shareholder agreements, and disclosure documents.
- Lead legal due diligence exercises and coordinate with external advisors, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Provide ongoing legal support on general commercial contracts and Hong Kong regulatory compliance matters.
- Assist partners with practice development, client pitches, and industry research.
skills & experience required.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years PQE in corporate M&A gained within a reputable international or local law firm.
- Hong Kong solicitor qualification is mandatory.
- Fluency in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English is required for handling legal documentation and client communications.
- Strong drafting, analytical, and deal-management skills with high attention to detail.
- Candidates who are immediately available or serving a short notice period are highly preferred.
