About the Team
You will lead a dynamic and multi-disciplinary department of 10+ subordinates. The team structure includes dedicated specialists in Digital Acquisition, Social Media, and Digital Channels, as well as Senior Marketing Managers focused on specific product lines. This is a collaborative environment that works closely with IT, Product Development, and Front-line Branch Managers to ensure a seamless brand experience.
The Role
As the Head of Marketing, you will report directly to the Commercial Director and hold primary accountability for the following:
... - Strategic Leadership: Formulate the overall branding strategy for the corporate entity and its sub-brands (Local Loan and Credit Cards).
- Campaign Management: Oversee the execution of 5–10 major marketing campaigns annually, ensuring creative and outstanding propositions that meet business targets.
- Digital Excellence: Drive the digital acquisition strategy to optimise acquisition costs and turnaround times while managing the company’s website, mobile app, and social media presence.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the annual marketing budget, monitoring all advertising and media expenses to ensure optimal cost/income ratios.
- Market Intelligence: Conduct research (0–4 studies per year) to provide insights into industry trends and refine segment-specific product attributes.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Brief front-line staff and branch managers on campaigns to ensure consistency in customer communication across all touch points.
- Talent Development: Lead, motivate, and retain a high-performing team while maintaining a strong awareness of related risk controls.
Skills & Experience
- Academic Background: University degree holder in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, or a related discipline.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of solid marketing experience, specifically with exposure to both the advertising and finance industries.
- Branding Expertise: Extensive, proven experience in corporate branding and both ATL/BTL marketing is essential.
- Digital Proficiency: Strong background in digital marketing and managing digital acquisition channels.
- Language Skills: Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Chinese word processing and trans-media techniques).
- Leadership Traits: Highly self-motivated leader with the ability to multi-task under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
