about the job.
...- Manage the end-to-end Capex and project investment process, including annual planning and periodic forecasting for the group.
- Conduct modelling and investment appraisal for new projects
- Monitor actual Capex spend against budget, providing detailed variance analysis and corrective action recommendations.
- Partner with the procurement and project teams to track project timelines and financial milestones.
- Develop and maintain Capex reporting dashboards to provide visibility to senior stakeholders on investment performance.
- Drive the enhancement of financial systems to improve the accuracy and efficiency of capital project tracking.
skills & experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting; CPA or CFA qualification is highly advantageous.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in FP&A, with a specific focus on Capex or project evaluation.
- Substantial experience within the Retail, IT sectors is an advantage.
- Advanced Financial Modelling skills and proficiency in Excel and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a significant advantage for regional coordination.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to "tell the story" behind the numbers to non-finance stakeholders.
