As a Paralegal, you will provide comprehensive support across general legal matters. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive legal research and compiling detailed reports for senior lawyers.
- Drafting, reviewing, and proofreading a wide variety of legal documents and correspondence.
- Preparing trial bundles, managing court filings, and organising legal databases.
- Assisting with cross-border transactions and coordinating with international offices.
- Performing legal translations and providing general administrative support to the practice group.
skills & experience required.
To ensure success in this role, the successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience working as a Paralegal within a law firm or in-house legal department.
- A Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or an equivalent legal qualification.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both written and spoken) to effectively manage local and cross-border matters.
- Strong ability to manage high-volume instructions and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable team player with high ethical standards.
- Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
