About the Team
You will join a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team of Sales Experts and Solution Architects. The culture is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative. You will have the backing of a robust technical support structure, allowing you to focus on high-level strategic positioning and complex deal closure while being supported by the best engineering minds in the industry.
The Role
As a Sales Director, you will be the primary driver of revenue growth within the Hong Kong Retail sector. Your focus will be on:
Strategic Relationship Management: Identify and penetrate key decision-making chains, establishing long-term partnerships with CXO and CXO-D level stakeholders.
Opportunity Mining: Proactively identify industry pain points and "speak the customer's language" to convert business needs into technical cloud opportunities.
Value Proposition Delivery: Independently articulate the business value of hybrid cloud, AI, and intelligent computing services, positioning the brand as the premier partner for digital transformation.
Full Life-cycle Ownership: Manage the end-to-end sales cycle—from initial prospecting and solution matching (supported by SAs) to commercial negotiation and final project landing.
Account Growth: Drive "Secondary Development" of existing accounts, ensuring service upgrades and resource expansion to maximise account lifetime value.
Internal Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer, driving internal product and process improvements based on real-world feedback and usage hurdles.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
Industry Tenure: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology-related business development or enterprise sales.
Domain Expertise: A deep understanding of the Retail landscape in Hong Kong, including its unique digital challenges and supplier ecosystems.
Cloud Proficiency: Solid knowledge of Public Cloud Computing, Hybrid Cloud, and the competitive landscape of the Hong Kong market.
Proven Track Record: A documented history of territory growth and consistent quota attainment within the local HK market.
Communication Mastery: Fluency in English and Cantonese is essential for navigating local business nuances; proficiency in Mandarin is a significant advantage.
Strategic Mindset: The ability to navigate complex organisational structures and influence high-level stakeholders through sophisticated sales strategies.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
