To support their rapid commercial scaling, we are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager based in Hong Kong or Mainland China. This role is tailored for a connected commercial professional with a deep network within Mainland Chinese pharmaceutical companies focused on antibody discovery, therapeutic proteins, and biologics development.

• Identify, pursue, and secure high-value business development opportunities and contract research partnerships across Mainland China's biopharmaceutical sector.
• Connect specifically with R&D leaders, decision-makers, and procurement teams within Chinese pharma companies actively developing antibodies, ADCs, and complex therapeutic biologics.
• Manage the complete BD life cycle—from cold outreach and technical discovery meetings to deal structuring, contract negotiation, and closing.
• Utilize existing industry contacts and relationships to rapidly expand the company's pipeline and service agreements.
• Monitor Chinese biopharma trends, pipeline shifts, and therapeutic demands to align the company's platform offerings with market needs.
• Partner closely with internal R&D, scientific support, and executive leadership to present tailored technical proposals and deliver seamless post-award account transition.
• Represent the company at key biopharma conferences, scientific symposiums, and bioprocess exhibitions across China.

skills & experiences required.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or a related Life Sciences discipline (Master's or PhD is a distinct advantage).
• Minimum of 3–6 years of successful sales, business development, or licensing experience within the CRO/CDMO, biotech, or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Proven, active network of R&D directors, scientists, and business leaders within Mainland Chinese pharmaceutical and biotech companies focused on antibody and biologics pipelines.
• Solid understanding of antibody discovery platforms, biologics R&D workflows, and therapeutic protein engineering.
• Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding commercial quotas and closing complex B2B service or platform agreements.
• Professional fluency in Mandarin and English (spoken and written) is mandatory to engage both Chinese clients and international internal stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel frequently across major biopharma hubs in Mainland China (e.g., Shanghai, Suzhou, Beijing, Guangzhou).
