Provide dedicated operational support to Front Office business lines under the Global Markets Division during Asian trading hours.
Ensure absolute transactional integrity across trading applications, executing rigorous first-level trade checking.
Perform trade modifications, cancellations, and trade event processing (including early termination, partial termination, and unwinds) upon receiving formal trading approval, reporting any profit and loss impacts.
Monitor, calculate, and validate all lifecycle events affecting structured products and Total Return Swaps (TRS), including coupons, securities transactions, early partial closings, early exercises, maturities, and nominal changes.
Oversee and manage the market data repository across equities, indices, proprietary indices, and third-party calendars with internal and external providers.
Monitor and book various corporate actions, handling detailed dividend and cash flow processing.
Deliver efficient post-trade support by ensuring seamless trade information flows through deal processing from front-office to back-office systems and between internal front-office platforms.
Investigate and proactively follow up on operational breaks identified by the back office, front office, and other internal departments.
Support local business development initiatives and manage volume increases efficiently.
Participate in ad-hoc projects aimed at the continuous improvement and optimisation of management processes, collaborating on specifications, user tests, and process drafting alongside project and IT teams.
skills & experiences required.
University degree holder from a disciplined background in Finance, Mathematics, or Engineering.
Minimum 5-7 years of experience within an Equity Middle Office environment.
- Candidates with less experience would be considered as an analyst.
Strong technical knowledge of financial products and a deep understanding of the operational risks involved in Equity Derivatives, Stock Lending & Borrowing (SLB), and Structured Products (such as Notes and Accumulators/Decumulators).
Highly versatile with PC tools and applications, with proven proficiency in MS Office and VBA.
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory; proficiency in other Asian languages is a definite advantage.
Comfortable with multi-tasking and possessing the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, exceptional judgement, alertness, and a highly motivated self-starter mindset.
Excellent analytical, organisational, and interpersonal communication skills.
