We are partnering with a leading global financial institution to find a dynamic VP for their Operational Strategy & Projects team in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to the Head of Asia Operations, this is a pivotal role focused on driving process re-engineering and spearheading change initiatives across the firm's operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing operational efficiency, designing robust processes for new products, and managing key projects, with a particular focus on the FICC and Equity Derivatives business lines.

• Lead the re-engineering of operational processes to align with industry best practices and drive efficiency.

• Critically analyze existing workflows to identify bottlenecks and deliver innovative, actionable solutions.

• Act as a key liaison between Operations, Technology, and Project Management teams to translate business needs into tangible system enhancements.

• Design, document, and implement robust process models for new product launches and strategic change initiatives.

• Manage stakeholders at all levels, presenting business cases and securing buy-in for process improvements from senior leadership.

• Oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of change.

• A minimum of 7 years of experience within a Back Office or Operations function in the financial services industry.

• Direct experience managing projects is essential; strong program/project management skills are required.

• Proven experience in process transformation is highly preferred. You must be able to independently review, automate, and streamline manual tasks.

• Strong product knowledge across FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies, Commodities) and/or Equity Derivatives.

• Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

• A proactive, control-oriented, and risk-aware mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

• Bachelor's degree or higher.

• Fluency in English is essential.
