We’re hiring for a newly created role within a fast-scaling, globally operating fintech and digital assets group. As Compensation & Benefits Lead, you’ll have the rare opportunity to build a total rewards function from scratch — designing the systems, frameworks, and philosophies that will shape how we attract and retain top talent across regions.
This is a high-trust, high-impact individual contributor role that partners directly with senior HR leadership and business stakeholders. You’ll combine strategy and execution to create scalable and performance-driven reward solutions fit for a modern, agile organization.

- Develop and implement company-wide reward structures, including job levels, pay bands, and grading models
- Design and manage performance-linked reward schemes, including annual bonus structures and incentive plans
- Lead market benchmarking and pay analysis to ensure internal equity and external competitiveness
- Oversee the annual salary and bonus review cycle, including modeling, proposals, and executive reporting
- Partner with HRBPs, Talent, and Finance to ensure alignment between rewards, performance, and workforce planning
- Provide expert guidance on compensation structures for new roles, promotions, and cross-border transfers
- Support the development of job architecture, titles, and career progression frameworks
- Act as a strategic advisor for the business on total rewards best practices, compliance, and market trends
- Liaise with external consultants, survey providers, and benchmarking platforms as needed
- Contribute to the evolution of HR systems and tools that support compensation planning and analytics
skills & experiences required.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in Compensation & Benefits, with 2+ years in a lead or strategic role
- Proven experience in building C&B frameworks from scratch within a multinational or regional structure
- Familiarity with job design, grading systems, and pay-for-performance models
- Strong analytical capability with proficiency in Excel modeling and HRIS tools
- Background in HR consulting (e.g., Aon, Mercer, WTW) is highly advantageous
- Excellent communication in English & Mandarin; Cantonese is a plus
- Strategic mindset with hands-on execution ability
- Comfortable navigating matrixed, fast-paced environments
