about the job.As a System Engineer (Automation Platform), your mission is to support the development and operation of high-volume data pipelines and automation tools. You will ensure the accuracy and performance of systems used for risk monitoring and regular reporting across all business functions.
Automation & Data Pipelines: Support the CoE in building and maintaining data pipelines, specifically focusing on large-volume testing data for risk and reporting.
Technical Design: Translate business requirements into functional technical designs, ensuring high data accuracy and system performance.
Cross-functional Support: Partner with business units and project teams to provide system-level support and ensure the seamless delivery of Data-as-a-Service platforms.
Operational Excellence: Maintain rigorous documentation for system architecture, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
BI Leveraging: Assist project managers in maximizing the impact of BI tools and automation platforms to drive operational efficiency.
Professional Experience: 1+ years of experience in System Engineering or DevOps, with a focus on automation tools and ETL processes.
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Python, SQL, and Tableau is essential.
Preferred Stack: Hands-on experience with UiPath, Xceptor, PySpark, or Apache Airflow is highly preferred.
Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with data engineering promotion processes and data visualization for system monitoring.
Industry Background: Exposure to central banking or highly regulated financial environments is a significant bonus.
Communication: Excellent command of English and Chinese (spoken and written) with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
