Design, configure, and maintain the company's internal and external networks, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPNs.
Configure and manage network hardware, including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls
Proactively monitor network and system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize for availability and performance.
Assist in developing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures to protect company assets.
Ensure systems and network infrastructure comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests; manage the remediation of identified vulnerabilities.
Participate in internal and external security audits, providing evidence and documentation as required.
Lead and participate in IT infrastructure projects from planning and design to implementation and support.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems, networks, and security configurations.

skills & experiences required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Over 6 years of IT working experience, with at least 3 years in the networking, IT consulting and / or cybersecurity field
Demonstrable experience managing complex, multi-site network environments.
Proven experience working with security compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and participating in security audits.
Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies.
Strong experience with Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, CentOS) operating systems, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
Security: Hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls, SIEM, vulnerability scanners (e.g., Nessus, Qualys), and endpoint security platforms.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 🧠
