You will join a collaborative and high-performing operations team that works closely with key external stakeholders, including custodians, fund administrators, and market vendors. The team fosters an inclusive, target-oriented environment where members are supported to resolve complex operational issues, streamline processes, and lead strategic system enhancements.
about the job.
- Support daily operations functions, including subscription, redemption, dividend distribution, trade settlement, fee payments, reconciliation, and NAV calculation.
- Work closely with service providers, including fund administrators, custodians, and vendors, to ensure smooth end-to-end daily operations.
- Provide clear direction and solutions for operational issues to guarantee seamless workflow execution.
- Assist with KYC, AML, and CFT functions, performing due diligence and ongoing compliance monitoring.
- Support new fund launches, fund onboarding procedures, and continuous process improvements.
- Assist with the annual audit of fund products and ensure accurate regulatory filings.
- Participate in system enhancements, workflow automation, and ad-hoc operational projects as assigned.
skills & experience required.
- Bachelor's degree holder in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of related experience in asset management firms; candidates with greater experience will be considered for the Senior Associate position.
- Strong product knowledge in equity and fixed income instruments.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance matters relating to SFC Type 9 licenses in Hong Kong.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented team player with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
