As the sole member of the finance function, you will work closely with the settlement team and the Responsible Officers (ROs). You will report directly to the Board of Directors, providing you with high visibility and decision-making influence. about the job.
Manage the full set of books independently, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
Prepare and submit monthly and semi-annual SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR) returns accurately and timely.
Handle daily liquid capital monitoring and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Perform bank reconciliations, client money handling oversight, and daily cash flow management.
Coordinate the annual audit and tax filing process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors.
Execute office administrative duties related to finance, including payroll processing and mandatory provident fund (MPF) administration.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with strong relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting within the securities or brokerage industry.
Proven expertise in preparing SFC FRR returns is essential.
Self-motivated and able to work independently without supervision in a "one-man-band" setting.
Fluency in English and Cantonese is required.
