about the job.
Manage daily accounting functions, including voucher preparation, ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, financial statements, and head office reporting packages.
Lead the compilation and timely submission of liquid capital computations in strict compliance with the SFC Financial Resources Rules (FRR).
Act as a core coordinator for the MIC (Manager-in-Charge) of Finance framework, assisting in updating corporate governance and compliance documentation.
Liaise closely with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners to ensure smooth annual audits and corporate tax filings.
Support the automation of financial reporting workflows and the continuous optimization of internal accounting control procedures.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline.
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification is highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and regulatory accounting within a brokerage firm, asset manager, or securities house.
In-depth technical knowledge of SFC FRR compliance, HKFRS accounting principles, and local tax regulations.
Proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to work independently under tight financial reporting timelines.
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory to effectively manage regional reporting pipelines and local regulatory correspondence.
