About the Team
You will join a high-performing team dedicated to delivering world-class experiences. You will specifically lead a specialised sub-team of 2–3 professionals focused on the Mainland China market. The team culture is strategic, agile, and data-driven, working cross-functionally with entertainment and hospitality experts to ensure that new members are not just "acquired," but deeply integrated into the institution’s ecosystem.
The Role
As a Sales Leader, your primary mandate is to identify and recruit high-quality members from Mainland China, with a specific focus on Beijing and South China.
Strategic Growth: Devise and execute engagement plans to recruit Mainland members who resonate with the institution’s values of entertainment and giving back to society.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a sub-team of 2–3, ensuring collective and individual recruitment targets are met through highly personalised outreach.
Stakeholder Management: Maintain daily high-touch relationships and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless on-boarding and servicing of your acquired portfolio.
Market Travel: Act as the face of the brand in Mainland China, requiring frequent travel to engage with prospects and strategic partners in key hubs.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for a "hunter" with the polish and grace required for a "farmer" environment. The ideal candidate will have:
Professional Background: Minimum 10 years of managerial experience, likely coming from Private Banking, Wealth Management, or Luxury Private Client Services (VIC/VVIP).
The Network: A "ready-to-go" portfolio of High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) contacts within Mainland China is essential.
Linguistic Excellence: Native-level fluency in Mandarin and English (both spoken and written) is mandatory. The ability to write eloquently and persuasively in both languages is a core requirement; Cantonese is an advantage.
Cultural Savvy: Deep familiarity with the Mainland China business environment and the nuances of engaging with its elite demographic.
Strategic Execution: A blend of analytical savvy and the "soft skills" needed to connect deeply with clients and navigate complex internal functions.
