Our client is seeking a Regional Infrastructure Lead to provide team leadership and manage the day-to-day operations of their regional infrastructure environment with a focus in the data center environment. - Data Centre Operations & Asset Management: Oversee, manage, and maintain all IT assets and equipment within the data center, including processors, accelerators, network infrastructure, storage solutions, and the full software stack. This includes leading 7x24 operations incident response to quickly address and resolve any issues impacting system performance or availability within the region.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a regional team of 30+ engineers/technicians, encompassing both IT operations and facility management specialists. Foster a collaborative environment and support professional growth.
- Budget & Cost Optimization: Prepare and manage the data center operations budget, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and regularly review operational costs to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Governance & Standards: Formulate, implement, and maintain robust governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures for data center management and operations.

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in a leadership role within regional infrastructure team, prior experiences working in data centre environment is an advantage but not required
- With a background working within banking & financial services / highly regulated industry, large commercial enterprises, or service providers , with regional exposures.
- Familiarity with industry best practices and audit requirements; CCNA, CDCP, and ITIL certifications are a significant plus.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in English and Chinese; currently based in Hong Kong with a valid work permit. Experience working or studying overseas is advantageous.
- A "down-to-earth" professional who is willing to conduct on-site visits and actively engage in operational aspects, rather than focusing solely on strategy or management.
