about the job.
Manage, retain, and deepen relationships with an assigned portfolio of existing High-Net-Worth (HNW) clients.
Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring premium client service, prompt query resolution, and high client satisfaction.
Actively coordinate and execute end-to-end account opening and onboarding procedures, ensuring a seamless experience for referred clients.
Receive, follow up on, and convert warm client leads routed from internal business units and branch networks.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell a wide range of wealth management products, including investment funds, bonds, structured products, and insurance, to meet clients' asset allocation needs.
Maximize the value of the existing portfolio through proactive, regular portfolio reviews.
Conduct robust Know-Your-Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) reviews for account openings and periodic renewals.
Ensure all transactions, client communications, and advisory activities strictly adhere to internal bank policies and HKMA/SFC regulatory requirements.
skills & experience required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in relationship management within Premier Banking, Wealth Management, or Retail Banking.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Mandatory: Active SFC Type 1 (Dealing in Securities) and SFC Type 4 (Advising on Securities) licenses.
CPWP (Certified Private Wealth Professional) qualification is highly advantageous but not mandatory at the start.
Deep familiarity with wealth management products, including Mutual Funds, FX, Bonds, Structured Products, and Insurance.
Strong compliance mindset, with solid experience in KYC, CDD, and client onboarding procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently engage with HNW clients.
Language proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential to handle regional and cross-border client bases (Cantonese is highly preferred).
