A well-established organisation in the education sector is seeking a Payroll System & Process Lead to drive improvements in its payroll operations and HRIS system. This role requires solid hands-on payroll experience—especially in managing payroll for large headcounts (1,000+ employees)—combined with strong system skills and process optimisation capabilities.

- Manage and process monthly payroll for a large employee base
- Oversee payroll system configuration, upgrades, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HK employment law, MPF, IRD, and leave policies
- Liaise with HR, IT, Finance, and system vendors to improve workflows
- Identify automation opportunities and streamline payroll procedures
- Support audits, reporting, and data integrity checks
- Provide user training and support on payroll system usage
skills & experiences required.
- 6–10 years of experience in payroll operations, with exposure to 1,000+ staff
- Strong knowledge of HRIS/payroll systems (Oracle, SAP, Workday, or equivalent)
- Familiar with Hong Kong payroll compliance and statutory reporting
- Tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and process-driven
- Good communication skills in English & Chinese;
- Experience in education, NGO, or public sector is a plus
