Position Summary
This strategic, cross-functional role is designed for a dynamic professional who will drive corporate initiatives across all General Insurance product lines and distribution networks. Operating at the intersection of business development, digital transformation, and corporate strategy, the role acts as a internal consultant to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Senior Management to design, implement, and track key branch growth strategies.
Market & Distribution Management: Nurture, manage, and expand commercial partnerships with GI brokers, corporate agents, and key accounts to generate high-quality business submissions.
Digital Transformation Bridge: Act as the pivotal liaison between Information Technology (IT) and core business units to execute digital platform strategies optimized for agents and customers.
Data Advocacy: Champion the use of advanced data analytics and metrics to identify emerging market trends and support objective, data-driven underwriting and portfolio decisions.
Channel Governance: Orchestrate structured performance reviews and governance meetings with distribution partners to maximize operational efficiency and execution.
Tender & Proposal Leadership: Coordinate with multi-line GI business heads to construct compelling corporate proposals and manage large-scale commercial tender responses.
Key Requirements
Experience: 5+ years of proven track record within General Insurance (Commercial Underwriting / Broking) or Management/Strategic Consulting focusing on the financial services sector.
Consulting Background Preferred: Experience in top-tier management consulting firms (e.g., Big 4 Insurance Advisory, specialized Actuarial/Insurance Consultancy) with strong analytical framework capabilities is highly advantageous.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional capability to maintain high market visibility and foster trust-based relationships with corporate brokers and strategic partners.
Product Acumen: A solid grasp of General Insurance products, commercial risk appetites, and market dynamics to effectively articulate competitive differentiation.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on developing business models, tracking KPIs, and monitoring organizational performance.
Mindset & Soft Skills: A highly collaborative influencer with an entrepreneurial, self-starting mindset, capable of navigating multi-stakeholder environments independently with limited resources.
Language Proficiency: Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in both English and Cantonese
