As a mid-level M&A Lawyer, your key responsibilities will include:
Advising clients on complex public and private M&A, cross-border corporate finance, joint ventures, and corporate restructurings.
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders' agreements, and disclosure letters.
Leading and managing the legal due diligence process, coordinating efficiently with specialist teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Liaising directly with corporate clients, investment banks, regulators, and opposing counsel to drive transactions to a successful close.
Assisting in the development of client relationships and actively participating in business development initiatives for the practice group.
skills & experience required.
Must be a Hong Kong qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 to 5 years PQE in corporate M&A, ideally gained within a reputable international or top-tier domestic law firm.
Demonstrated experience in handling cross-border M&A transactions and corporate finance matters.
Excellent drafting skills with strong commercial acumen and the ability to manage transactions independently.
Native or professional fluency in English and Mandarin is mandatory, as the role involves substantial communication with stakeholders in Mainland China.
Excellent academic credentials with a law degree from a recognized institution.
