A well-established asset management company is looking to hire a Legal Counsel to join their team. The company operates globally and is known for its expertise in various fund types. This role will provide legal advice on a diverse range of investment products and working closely with the business team.
about the job.
- Advise on legal matters related to a wide range of investment products, including SFC authorised funds, UCITs, ETFs, and private equity funds.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents such as fund setup documents, investment management agreements, and distribution agreements.
- Conduct ad-hoc legal research and provide timely legal advice to internal teams.
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum of 3 years PQE with an asset management company, financial institution, or law firm.
- Solid technical knowledge and experience in fund management and possess strong knowledge of Hong Kong funds law
- Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
