Service Excellence & Incident Governance: Manage day-to-day IT infrastructure service delivery, safeguarding SLAs across incident, problem, and change management.
Change Management Leadership: Chair the Change Approval Board (CAB) to review operational risks, evaluate roll-back strategies, and ensure seamless communication.
Automation & Observability: Pioneer automation workflows using Power Automate or similar platforms to reduce repetitive tasks, and design live service health dashboards utilizing Grafana.
Team Leadership & Coaching: Mentor, coach, and conduct regular 1:1 feedback sessions with onshore and remote service professionals to cultivate a high-performing culture.
Vendor & Asset Control: Coordinate with external tech partners and vendors, governing SLAs, tracking compliance, and optimizing operational costs.
User Enablement: Develop training programs and high-quality knowledge base content to empower end-users on Microsoft 365 environments (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange).
skills & experiences required.
Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience leading or supervising an IT Operations/Service Desk team within an enterprise environment.
Technical Frameworks: Proven track record running Incident, Problem, and Change Management pipelines, including experience running a CAB.
Automation Toolkit: Demonstrated hands-on experience designing workflows (e.g., Power Automate, n8n) and setting up infrastructure monitoring/telemetry dashboards (ideally Grafana).
People Management: Strong passion for mentoring, creating structured training pathways, and developing succession plans for technical staff.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to remain clear, calm, and analytical under pressure.
