... - Lead the end-to-end execution of corporate finance transactions, focusing primarily on HKEX Main Board IPOs and equity capital markets (ECM) advisory.
- Serve as the signing Sponsor Principal on initial public offering assignments, ensuring full adherence to SFC guidelines and listing rules.
- Define and oversee transaction scope, due diligence procedures, financial modeling, and regulatory submission documentation.
- Maintain direct dialogue with the HKEX, SFC, external legal counsel, reporting accountants, and key institutional stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal compliance and risk management teams to maintain robust governance standards across all corporate finance activities.
- Build and nurture long-term client relationships to foster business growth, while providing strategic guidance on complex ad-hoc corporate actions.
skills & experiences required.
- Minimum 10 years of corporate finance and investment banking experience within a reputable financial institution or professional services firm.
- Currently or previously registered as an SFC Type 6 Principal (Advising on Corporate Finance) with a clean compliance track record.
- Proven track record as a signing Sponsor Principal on completed Hong Kong IPO transactions.
- In-depth knowledge of HKEX Listing Rules, Takeovers Code, SFC regulatory requirements, and capital market operations.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory due to frequent client interactions across Greater China.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and deal execution.
