The Internal Audit team is a lean, versatile unit that operates with a high degree of autonomy. You will report directly to the Head of Audit and work in a flat structure that encourages open communication and quick decision-making. The team values "all-rounders" who are willing to pivot between different business lines and provide practical, value-added insights to the leadership team.
about the job.
Lead the end-to-end execution of risk-based internal audits, from initial planning to the final reporting phase.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of business operations to ensure compliance with HKMA, SFC, and Insurance Authority (IA) regulations.
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management frameworks across various financial products and services.
Provide independent and objective assurance to senior management regarding the integrity of the group’s operations.
Partner with department heads to develop and monitor the implementation of effective remediation plans.
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of the audit methodology to reflect the group’s evolving business model.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA, CIA, or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit or external audit within the financial services sector.
Exposure to multiple regulatory frameworks (SFC, HKMA, or IA) is highly advantageous.
Highly adaptable mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment.
Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required for effective stakeholder engagement across the group.
