Lead and manage the full audit lifecycle, including risk assessment, audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting.
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
Conduct operational and compliance audits in accordance with Insurance Authority (IA) regulations and group standards.
Identify key control gaps and provide commercially viable recommendations to senior management.
Monitor the progress of remedial actions taken by management to ensure issues are resolved effectively.
Assist in the development of the annual audit plan and contribute to the ongoing optimisation of audit tools and data analytics.
skills & experience required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CPA, CIA, or equivalent professional qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 6 years of experience in internal audit or external audit, with a strong preference for candidates from the insurance or financial services sector.
Solid understanding of the Hong Kong insurance regulatory environment and COSO frameworks.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at a senior level.
Fluency in English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
