HR Officer - HRIS & Payroll Transformation (Hong Kong & Macau)
Are you an HR professional with a passion for data and systems? This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in a high-impact role that balances core HR operations with strategic HRIS and Payroll projects. Supporting a combined headcount of over 300 across Hong Kong and Macau, you will work within a flat, agile team structure to drive HR transformation. This role is offered on a third-party secondment basis, providing excellent regional exposure to the Greater China (GC) market.

You will join a lean and efficient HR team consisting of a Senior HR Manager and a Senior C&B Partner. The team operates with a flat structure, ensuring you have direct access to leadership and a voice in project decisions. You will work closely with C&B partners in Hong Kong and the HR Services hub in Shanghai, fostering a truly cross-border professional network.
about the job.
- Deliver payroll and HRIS projects (50% of the role) by collaborating with local C&B partners and the HR Services team in Shanghai.
- Provide comprehensive HR generalist services for the Hong Kong (200+ headcount) and Macau (100 headcount) offices.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on onboarding, offboarding, C&B, and staffing arrangements.
- Support large-scale HR Transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency.
- Drive employee engagement activities to foster a positive workplace culture across both locations.
- Ensure all data-driven tasks are handled with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
skills & experience required.
- University degree, preferably with a background in Information Systems (IS) or Human Resources.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR operations, specifically focusing on Payroll and HRIS.
- Proactive mindset with a strong data sense and the ability to interpret HR metrics.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven track record as a collaborative team player.
- Experience in a regional or "Greater China" context is a significant advantage.
