You will have full ownership of the end-to-end HR function for a lean, high-velocity local office. This position is perfect for an action-oriented, hands-on HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is equally comfortable driving strategic talent initiatives as they are managing day-to-day operational groundwork.

Strategic Business Partnering: Act as the sole on-site HR advisor to the leadership team, providing guidance on organizational health, workforce planning, and performance management.
Full-Cycle HR Operations: Manage the entire employee lifecycle independently, including talent acquisition, structured onboarding, employee relations, performance appraisal cycles, and separation management.
Payroll & Compliance Execution: Take hands-on ownership of monthly payroll processing, MPF administration, annual tax filings (IR56 series), and leave tracking, ensuring 100% accuracy and strict adherence to the Hong Kong Labor Ordinance.
Policy & Benefits Governance: Review, update, and implement local HR policies, ensuring alignment with global corporate standards while maintaining competitive local staff welfare and medical insurance programs.
... Requirements & Attributes:
Experience: Minimum of 6–8 years of progressive HR generalist experience, ideally gained within a multinational corporation (MNC). Prior exposure to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, medical device, life sciences, or similar highly regulated/commercial sectors is highly preferred.
The Standalone Mindset: Proven track record of operating independently as a sole contributor or a hands-on generalist in a lean team structure.
Core Competencies: Solid, practical knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws, statutory tax filings, and hands-on payroll processing.
Action-Oriented: Exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills, with a clear sense of urgency and comfort navigating fast-moving commercial spaces.
Communication: Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is required to effectively collaborate with local and regional stakeholders.
