As the Head of Operation Management, your primary mission is to provide stability and oversight to the bank’s back-office functions. Your responsibilities include:
Operational Oversight: Directing and controlling all back-office activities, including core banking systems, deposit accounts, and remittances.
Transaction Management: Ensuring the smooth execution of investment services and settlement operations.
Policy & Compliance: Formulating and updating operational policies to stay aligned with current regulatory changes.
Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing new methods to streamline procedures and increase department efficiency.
Internal Coordination: Partnering with other departments to resolve bottlenecks and improve overall service effectiveness.
Financial Control: Managing and monitoring the annual budgets for all operational areas under your remit.
skills & experiences required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.
Experience: At least 15 years in banking operations, with a mandatory 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing large teams.
Product Knowledge: Practical experience in retail, corporate, and investment banking back-office processes.
Regulatory Awareness: Solid understanding of banking regulations and internal control procedures.
Leadership: Proven ability to manage a high-headcount department and handle complex operational challenges.
Languages: Good command of both English and Chinese.
